What a difference he has made to my son!

Just finished sessions with Christian at AOC.

What a difference he has made to my son! He is truly a remarkable human being and takes time to get to know clients and their family at their own pace. A lovely relaxed, non- threatening environment which is so important for both parent and child. He went above and beyond to be flexible and gave timely, meaningful feedback every session. Please do not be nervous if you need to see Christian as he will put you at ease straight away.

Thank you Christian – please keep doing what you do so well for the benefit of us all.

Provided the tools to heal and move forward

My family’s time with the AoC came at a very dark chapter in our lives. The AoC took us from a family struggling with complex trauma, that affected us all in unique ways, to a bonded family unit with new thinking mechanisms that we’ve been able to build upon independently.

Our interaction with the AoC bought us closer together and provided the tools to heal and move forward. The positive impact the AoC made to our lives and our family dynamics is still left in our hearts today after well over a year of finishing our support journey, and I just wanted to say thank you to Christian and to you all. We think of you often!

Warm and welcoming

I have been engaging in therapy with Sherrone for around a month now. Sherrone is always warm and welcoming in sessions, and this makes me feel relaxed and comfortable.
She is also very knowledgeable in the area of OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and the treatment recommended/required for recovery.
Sherrone gave me confidence in that she is well equipped with the therapeutic modalities required for effective treatment of OCD.
Over the four weeks of sessions I have completed at the moment, I can definitely say that I feel much more confident and resilient in challenging my OCD, exploring the core beliefs behind my obsessions and compulsions, along with improved regulation of emotions.
Her understanding of neurodiversity is also very beneficial as it helps me to understand the links between autism and OCD, and where some things are related and at other times separate.
My family have also noticed improvements in my mood, resilience and behaviours. This makes me very happy.

A huge thank you to Sherrone. I’d like to extend my gratitude and thanks and I am looking forward to working further with Sherrone to combat my OCD.

Support work was amazing

This was the second contact centre we had tried. I wish we had started here first. The support work was amazing with my daughter, she was patient, caring and understanding with her and put her welfare and happiness foremost. The support we have received has been amazing and the service has been flawless. It is a very nice and calming place to settle any child and family. I would recommend to anyone.

Massive thank you

I want to say a massive thank you to Christian. You have supported my son age 9 for the past few months, and he has made brilliant progress giving us so much guidance and patience. His behaviour  has improved, and his TICs have STOPPED.

I also had a few sessions which were so helpful for my own mental health.

Also thank you to Ben with the brilliant communication with making appointments and all the enquiries.

Friendly and gentle approach

Apprehensive at first about using a therapy service for my 11 year old son. Christians professional yet friendly and gentle approach has enabled my son and family to be in a happier place. Would certainly recommend and reach out again to AoC if needed. Thank you
